WittKieffer is partnering with OhioHealth in its search for the next Vice President, Managed Care (VP, MC). OhioHealth is a leading non-profit hospital system in central Ohio and is financially strong with a revenue approaching $6 billion. It operates 18 hospitals across 47 counties, serving a large and diverse population.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Population Health Officer, the VP, MC will be a seasoned negotiator and relationship builder, with responsibilities which include directing the staff operations for the units, overseeing of OhioHealth's managed care contracting initiatives with commercial and governmental payers; analyzing, modeling and tracking contract compliance and financial performance of managed care contracts, as well as leadership and the execution of third- party payer negotiations and the communication of those contracts to the appropriate parties.

The next leader will have accountability for the development and implementation of certain strategic plan aspects for the regional network development, patient acquisition, managed care, physician hospital development, primary care, Ohio Health Group, OhioHealth Health Plan, and other new initiatives of OhioHealth. The VP, MC will have the opportunity to enhance the system's contracts, advance their capabilities, and contribute to successful clinical care models.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree, and at least 7 years of leadership experience in managed care, network development coupled with knowledge of hospital operations, health/insurance benefit plans, and complex reimbursement methodologies.
