AND THE TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF HEALTH PLANS (TAHP) ENTER INTO AN AFFILIATION TO
PROVIDE INFORMATIONAL RESOURCES AND VALUE ADDED BENEFITS FOR TAHP MEMBER
ORGANIZATIONS
MODESTO, CA, July 13, 2004----
MCOL, the business-to-business health management and managed care resource
company, today announced an affiliation with the Texas Association of Health
Plans designed to provide various value added benefits to the member
organizations of the association.
Under
the new agreement, association members will have access to a special version of
the MCOL member site with managed care news, articles, data and resources,
receive discounts on a package of MCOL and HealthQuest directories, training
software, and membership services, and participate in an upcoming Healthcare Web
Summit internet-based conference with special sessions and features for the
Texas Association, all linked from the association web site at www.tahp.org.
In addition, MCOL will help to promote the association’s annual
conference and will provide extensive managed care data resources to TAHP’s
staff.

site, where association members can access significant industry news, data,
articles and other resources at no cost and register for free e-newsletters.
Association members are now eligible to receive 15% discounts on MCOL products
and services including MCOL’s paid on-line subscription service, HealthQuest
Managed Care Directories, and MCOL’s managed care and Consumer Driven care
training software. The Association
is also co-sponsoring MCOL’s HealthCare Web Summit event in November:
“Managing Health Care Costs” an Internet based conference which will feature
leading national faculty and presentations specific to the Texas marketplace.
Association Members will receive the 15% discount off Managing Health Care Cost
web summit registration for access to the complete web summit. Association members will also have the option to access the
Texas-only market presentations at no cost.
