The Directory has 388 pages with 5,480 executive listings from 7600 companies, with a varying number of key executive positions listed per company. The 2005 directory includes 476 more executive listings, 80 more companies and a total of 19 additional pages compared to the previous edition. The listings also reflect a significant number of changes within many companies, including additions, deletions, and job title changes for their executive employees.
Companies reported include health plans, provider networks, PBMs, administrative organizations (quality improvement organizations, utilizations and disease management organizations, and TPAs including consumer driven plans) and specialty organizations (dental, vision and behavioral). Indexes are provided for navigation, including by state, industry category, parent company, and by job category.
Companies listings in the directory include address, phone, fax and web site, parent company affiliations, industry category, and indicate key employees by name, title and standardized job categories, with up to 32 job categories available.
The CD-ROM version of the Directory includes an Adobe Acrobat version of the Directory book in addition to offering multiple file formats of the directory database, including: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Tab Delimited Text and Database IV files, and pre-formatted mailing labels in Microsoft Word.
