Pleasanton, CA - SharePlus, Inc. and Managed Care On-Line (MCOL) have just entered into a joint venture relationship to develop internet web sites for interested member hospitals of the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, as well as other health care organizations and affiliated companies.
"The Web Site Package offered through SharePlus allows Hospital Council hospitals and all other interested parties a turn-key package where MCOL coordinates the planning, design and ongoing site updating and maintenance," stated William K. Piche, SharePlus Executive Director. "Many organizations have, to date, wanted to post a site on the internet, but don't have the internal resources to pull it off. In particular, trying to keep a site updated throughout the year can be an overwhelming additional duty for organizations to take on".
The SharePlus Web Site Package(s) address the following features and issues:
"The possibilities for hospitals and other interested parties are endless" according to Clive Riddle, MCOL president. "Features can include physician practice opportunities, employment opportunities, password protected areas for medical staff, or other constituencies, community, medical staff or employee newsletters, meeting schedules, community class schedules and announcements, press releases, order forms, or file download menus for marketing materials, patient information, insurance information, procedure manuals, etc. ...," Riddle continued.
The SharePlus Web Site Package has a unique pricing structure. "Given the financial pressures facing all organizations involved with health care, we've priced our package to be surprisingly affordable," Mr. Piche commented. "Given our package involves an ongoing relationship, we've created a pricing structure involving set quarterly payments that cover all updates to the site without a large up-front cost."
