MCOL has just issued its public release of CAP-MAN software, a
suite of capitation resources for those involved with managed
care capitation arrangements. CAP-MAN includes the following
applications:
MCOL has priced CAP-MAN at $148, but has unveiled an introductory
price of $98 for a limited time, reflecting a savings of $50.

The centerpiece of CAP-MAN is Capulator, a unique, flexible
application with folders that store capitation models and data.
Capulator allows you to use pre-set models to define report line
items, or you can customize and build your own models. You
provide at least two of the following three data assumptions for
each line item: utilization rates, costs per unit and capitation
rates. Capulator then calculates the remaining item and produces
a series of reports, and allows you to input various scenarios as
well. Capulator can also calculate utilization rates from raw
data, and then input such rates into the capitation calculation.
CAP-MAN is Windows based, requiring a 486 or better IBM
compatible and 4MB hard disk storage. During this introductory

A free MCOL Sampler demo diskette is available, which includes a
