MCOL introduces "Push" Internet E-Mail delivery features for Subscribers
Modesto, CA - MCOL has just launched a new free service "pushing" specific features to Managed Care On-Line™ subscribers designated internet e-mail addresses. Included is a weekly managed care data delivery service, and automatic delivery of designated Managed Care On-Line forum messages to the internet e-mail address specified by the subscriber.
Each week, MCOL will select an interesting managed care data or article file already posted inside Managed Care On-Line™ and send an e-mail to registered MCOL subscribers announcing its availability. To receive the selected file, subscribers simply reply to the e-mail. The file is subsequently sent as an e-mail attachment. "MCOL literally has many hundreds of files and articles available for its subscribers. This latest feature provides useful managed care information, even without having to access Managed Care On-Line™ directly. By simply responding to the email message - subscribers can easily download and access files using their word processing or spreadsheet applications, without having to connect to our service." commented Claire Bollier Thayer, MCOL Director of Research and Development.
MCOL subscribers can now also use the Managed Care On-Line™ Forums directly from their internet e-mail, in addition to using the facilities inside the service. Subscribers can register to receive all forum messages, or only selected forums. Subscribers can also send an internet e-mail inquiries for posting in the Managed Care On-Line™, by e-mailing forums@mcol.mcareol.com.
