MODESTO,
CA, November 15, 2001
---- The International Summit on the Private Health Sector will be brought to
the Internet via an innovative Web Edition partnered with MCOL. Detailed
information and registration for the new Web Edition of The International Summit
is available at http://www.globalhealthresources.com/websummit.htm
.
The International Summit addresses new public-private partnerships for
innovative healthcare, health finance, pharmacology and medical technologies
that are evolving in most of the top 100 countries of the world. Companies that
are interested in networking for partners, customers and business development
contacts gather for the popular event. Jonathan Lewis, Board Chairman of The
International Summit notes that, “The
International Summit is a cross-national private healthcare sector executive
leadership conference that is co-sponsored by over 80 collaborating
organizations worldwide. A new alliance has also been established for 2002
between The Summit and The International Health Leadership Programme of
Cambridge University School of Management in England.” In 2000, 600 delegates
attended from 52 nations, representing private healthcare providers and
insurers, nongovernmental organizations, trade associations and international
institutions.
“We of course encourage all interested parties who
can do so, to attend The Summit in Miami Beach from December 2nd through
December 5th 2001. These attendees will receive full access to the
Web Edition as well for no additional cost,” says Clive Riddle, MCOL
President. “But for those unable to attend this year’s Summit in-person, the
Web Edition of The Summit offers an unprecedented and very affordable
opportunity to easily network with Summit participants, be included in Summit
surveys, and have continued access to the extensive e-learning offering of
Summit presentations from distinguished faculty around the globe.”
In
addition to a comprehensive menu of Summit presentations with the ability to
e-mail questions to participating faculty, the Web Edition of The Summit will
feature a new e-Networking facility where all registrants can search for
attendees by last name or country, and click to send them an e-mail, while still
concealing the recipient’s actual e-mail address for privacy purposes.
Important Summit e-poll surveys will also be conducted. Web booths for Summit
Exhibitors are provided. Two special Web Edition e-newsletters with valuable
information will go to all participants, plus many more features.
Riddle adds, “What’s more, Web Edition registrants to receive a
complimentary annual subscription to MCOL’s Global Health Resources, the
on-line service for professionals with extensive international health
information, resources and e-newsletters. These subscriptions otherwise cost $90
annually.”
Registration for the Web Edition involves a one-time fee of $95.00, and
provides continued 24/7 access to the Web Edition of the International Summit
plus the added Global Health Resources subscription from December 2001 through
November 2002. Interested parties can register or find out more on the web at http://www.globalhealthresources.com/websummit.htm,
