Village Web Community Added to Managed Care On-LineÔ
Modesto, CA – Managed Care On-LineÔ has opened MCOL Village in its member web site, www.mcol.com. Managed Care On-LineÔ delivers knowledge resources through the web and e-mail to professionals involved with managed care, including thousands of data files, news, publications, tools and much more.
“MCOL Village adds powerful communication facilities for our Managed Care On-Line members to network and interact as a community. Members can now access a personal internet e-mail account, teleconferencing, polls, a registry of members and more, directly from the members web site,” noted Archie Sanford, Chief Technology Officer.
“MCOL Village is integrated into our paid member web site for Full and Gold members, with increased security provisions.” Mr. Sanford added, “In addition, MCOL Village also provides enhanced forum message archives and data file library facilities for members as well.”
“Our Full and Gold members can now use a personal internet e-mail address and facility for their managed care professional networking, participate in professional on-line chats, and better search and access past member forum messages and data files. Members can access their personal e-mail accounts at any time, from any computer, simply by visiting MCOL Village,” stated Claire Thayer, MCOL Director of Research and Development. “These new facilities are also available for special user groups to use secured, restricted access to forums or teleconferencing just for their organization,” she added.
