MCOL releases CAP-MAN v 2.0
Modesto, CA - MCOL, the internet managed care knowledge resource company, has just released version 2.0 of CAP-MAN, its popular suite of capitation tools and reference resources.
"Were very pleased to provide a major upgrade to CAP-MAN, which updates capitation information for 1999, improves the products visual presentation, and converts certain modules for use with the Adobe Acrobat Ô Reader" states Claire Thayer, Director of Research and Development.
CAP-MAN provides a suite of tools and reference resources for professionals involved with managed care capitation arrangements, including: Capulator- a capitation and utilization calculator with standard and custom models and reports; Capulator Tutorial; Capitation Seminar- an executive training module; and Capitation Negotiator- a capitation contract language negotiation reference resource. Using CAP-MAN, one can acquire key capitation knowledge, consult CAP-MAN when negotiating contracts, and use CAP-MAN to calculate and project capitation requirements on an ongoing basis.
CAP-MAN is specially priced at $98 reflecting a $50 discount from the $148 price, which will be effective later next year. CAP-MAN requires Microsoft Windows 95 or higher, and an Adobe AcrobatÔ Reader, which is also provided for optional installation with the new CAP-MAN v 2.0 CD.
The CAP-MAN v. 2.0 software is now available for new customers via CD-ROM installation, and is also available as modules contained in optional software provided to Managed Care On-LineÔ members purchasing Full or Gold memberships. A downloadable version of the upgrade (which excludes the Adobe AcrobatÔ Reader) is free to previous CAP-MAN software customers, and Managed Care On-LineÔ Gold members.
