Managed Care On-Line™ develops on-line utilization calculator for members
"We created an easy to use on-line application where any unit of service can be entered: inpatient days, doctor visits, prescriptions, etc. Then the user just enters in the member months, and clicks a drop down box to specify the type of utilization rate desired: per member per month; per member per year, per thousand members per month or per thousand members per year. After that, a click of a button returns the rate" stated Archie Sanford, MCOL Chief Technology Officer. "What’s more, if the user doesn’t know the exact member months, they can enter their estimate of the average members and the number of months involved, and the member months will be projected."
