Extends Internet Strategy Linking Providers,

IRVING, Texas, May 5, 2000 ----- VHA Inc. today announced an agreement with Managed Care On-LineÔ that offers VHA members a discounted pricing structure for access to MCOL services for managed care professionals. MCOL’s news, information, training, data and communication products are available to subscribers through VHA Online, the secure Internet resource of the VHA alliance. Through e-mail delivery, MCOL provides electronic newsletters, a weekly data delivery service and forums linking health care professionals across the nation.
“Managed Care On-Line has the centralized, comprehensive knowledge base and other managed care resources that physicians and other clinical staff require in today’s environment,” said Kevin Hutchinson, VHA vice president of Member Strategies. “This is a service that helps extend VHA’s Internet strategy to better link hospitals, physicians, patients and consumers.”
